Lake George

This is my first post on travel. And I assure you that there shall be many many more :)

LAKE GEORGE!

Just the sound of this name brings back all the wonderful memories that me and hubbs created while visiting this beautiful and serene place.

Month /Year     : May / 2009   (visited on the Memorial day weekend)

Transportation   : Drive

Place to stay      : Grand Union Motel

Food : Few restaurants, fast food joints near Lake George. (But very limited options for vegans. So, pack some food items if you are a vegan like me)

Near by places to visit : Saratoga Springs
                                     Albany
                                     Corning Museum of Glass
                                     Niagara Falls

Parking   :  Meter parking available (do not forget to carry 25c with you.)

Activities we did:
1 hr cruise with Minnie - ha - ha.
Fort William Henry
Pottersville (lots of trails to go hiking)
White water rafting
